Authentic leaders take their role seriously and have no interest in abusing their position of power. They understand that the purpose of their leadership is to serve and guide those that are following them and they do so with the purest of intentions.

4) Inspirational

By way of their example, authentic leaders inspire their team members to not only act with integrity, but strive for excellence in every area of their lives.

5) Accountability & Awareness

The needs of the team are at the forefront of their mind, and they feel no need to let their ego block the progress of the group. They are open to giving and receiving constructive feedback, which ultimately improves the performance of each member.
