One of the most important things you can learn in this life is to go with the flow. You'll either learn to accept this as a necessity through acquiring wisdom from the experiences of others, or you will be forced to accept it as a harsh reality through a multitude of your own difficult experiences.
Take the path of least resistance. Understand that things will change, life changes, people change and you will change. Nothing stays the same...ever.
Naturally, as humans, we are resistant to change. It's ironic, because our very existence relies on a cascade of changes that are pivotal to our development. The moment our bodies seize to change, develop and grow, it is the beginning of the end for us.
The same concept applies to all areas of your life. When you want to start a new job, you have to learn new skills, get to know different people and align yourself with the working culture in order to survive and thrive in that environment. When you move into a new city, you would have to change parts of your lifestyle in order to get by. When you get into a relationship, you have to accept each other for what you are, while also holding space for each other to grow (individually and within the relationship).
All of these changes require mental flexibility. The more mentally flexible you are, the easier it is to adapt and the easier life will get. It's great to have big plans and a clear vision for your future, but remember to remain open to change. Nothing will go precisely how you want it to no matter how much planning you do.
Just think back to last year, or even the year before that! Did you think that you would be in the position you're in right now? Could you have predicted the twists and turns you've experienced on your way to this point in your life? Probably not.
When you accept that change is a necessary part of life, allow yourself to focus more on what you can do to evolve, rather than forcefully keeping yourself in the same place you were in yesterday.
By adapting and choosing to navigate new experiences with a positive attitude, you are automatically giving yourself the opportunity to transform into a person with more wisdom, knowledge and overstanding.
Go with flow and embrace what comes and let your experiences change you for the better.

Do you embrace change in your life?
Yes. It's scary at times, but I try to trust the process.
I'm working on having a better attitude when changes come.
No. But I'm inspired to, now that I've read this blog post.
Great survival tip! Life gets so much easier when you go with the flow 💙
